Victory at Mar-a-Lago: TPUSA Winter Gala Celebrates Trump’s Historic Election Win

Updated: Dec 12, 2024

What a moment in history. The 2024 Turning Point USA Winter Gala at Mar-a-Lago wasn’t just another glamorous evening—it was a victory party. A massive celebration of everything we've fought for, marking the election of Donald J. Trump in the 2024 election. With 930 people in attendance—the largest event Mar-a-Lago has ever hosted—this wasn’t your typical gala. It was a defining moment for the conservative movement, and everyone there felt it.

I feel that the evening was more than an occasion to connect with like-minded individuals—it was a moment to witness the fruit of unwavering commitment to truth and conservative values. As I walked into the grand ballroom, the energy in the room was charged, filled with an undeniable sense of purpose. The night echoed with one resounding message: Victory. It wasn’t just a theme—it was the heartbeat of the entire event.

The night was anchored by Charlie Kirk, and it’s no surprise why. As the founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie has turned the conservative youth movement into something unstoppable. TPUSA is now active on more than 3,000 high school and college campuses, with over 650,000 lifetime student members.

At just 30 years old, Charlie has become one of the most influential leaders in politics, media, and activism. His steadfast defense of free-market principles and limited government has sparked a fire in the next generation—one that’s only growing stronger.

The gala also welcomed an impressive array of distinguished guests, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Kash Patel, Lucas Miles, Eric Metaxas, and Benny Johnson. Their presence underscored the diverse and united coalition that stands behind the movement. Each guest, a trailblazer in their respective fields, added to the event’s significance and momentum.

Riley Gaines, a decorated college athlete, took the stage with a powerful message, addressing the injustice of transgender men competing in women’s sports. Her words resonated deeply with the audience, serving as a reminder of the importance of standing firm on issues of fairness and integrity.

Although President Trump couldn’t attend due to diplomatic responsibilities in Paris, Donald Trump Jr. delivered a powerful message. He urged the crowd to enjoy the victory, but to remember the work that still lies ahead.

“Enjoy tonight,” Donald Trump Jr. said, “but after the party, it’s time to get to work.” His words were a sharp reminder that while we’ve won a battle, there’s still a long road ahead. The responsibility to protect what we've achieved is ours.

The evening’s heartbeat was faith. During the event, I shared with several others that this wasn’t just a celebration; it was a testimony to the power of prayer and divine guidance in our fight. The victories we celebrate today were won on our knees as much as through action. Now, it’s our turn to carry this torch boldly.

Faith isn’t merely a pillar of the movement—it’s the foundation. That night, I saw answered prayers in the faces of those gathered, a reminder that God moves through people who are willing to rise and fight for truth.

Being part of this historic moment affirmed what we’ve always known at Ignite Voices: that when we stand boldly for truth, we can make a difference. We, the Ekklesia, are rising, and together, we’re preserving the values that make our society strong.

As the largest TPUSA event ever, the 2024 Winter Gala wasn’t just about celebrating an election victory. It was about making a statement: the conservative movement is strong, it’s resilient, and it’s only getting started.

This weekend wasn’t just about celebrating a victory—it was about recommitting to the mission of faith, freedom, and unity. I left Mar-a-Lago inspired, energized, and ready to keep fighting for the future of our great nation.
